The AIDS Center of Queens County (ACQC) is Queens' largest provider of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and advocacy services. Since 1986, the organization has enhanced the quality of life for individuals and families living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions. ACQC operates three locations in Richmond Hill-Jamaica, Woodside, and Far Rockaway, serving over 12,000 HIV-positive clients and 30,000 community residents throughout the borough. The organization provides comprehensive medical care, health home case management coordinating medical and mental health services, a homeless youth drop-in center, HIV and STI prevention and education, housing assistance for people experiencing homelessness, behavioral health services through a New York State-licensed outpatient mental health clinic, legal services, harm reduction and syringe exchange programs, and pharmacy services. All services are provided at no cost to clients.
