Affect provides comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment delivered entirely through a smartphone app. The program includes counseling, psychiatric prescribing, peer support, and a science-backed rewards system to motivate healthy choices. For mental health, Affect treats anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and postpartum depression. For addiction treatment, the program addresses alcohol use disorder, cocaine, marijuana, prescription painkillers, heroin, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. All treatment is fully digital, private, and accessible through the secure mobile app, with users able to attend sessions from anywhere and message their care team between appointments. Insurance covers the majority of treatment, with 90% of members receiving entirely free care.
